What we do

The Alliance has been involved in generating reports and policies advocating for safe routes, to safe homes, in safe communities and engaging with these at events in collaboration with the sector.

The Community

Sponsorship Alliance

Event at the House of

Commons

The Community Sponsorship Alliance (CSA) had the privilege of attending an inspiring event at the historic House of Commons in London. The CSA hosted an event that brought together people from diverse backgrounds, united by a common purpose: to discuss and address the challenges faced by refugees seeking safe routes to safe homes, within safe communities.

The Future of UK Resettlement: Reimagining Community Sponsorship

The Community Sponsorship Alliance, in conversation with the Principal Sponsors Alliance, presents the
following suggestions for a resettlement model. This is in response to the Department for Levelling Up
Housing and Communities request for suggestions around how Community Sponsorship may be used to
help resettle Afghan citizens currently in Pakistan. We look forward to further discussions in order to
develop these ideas with others in the sector.

Safe Pathways Policy Framework

The Community Sponsorship Alliance (CSA) were represented at King's College London (KCL) on Tuesday 16th July 2024 at their joint conference presenting their draft policy framework for Safe Pathways. Over the last few months, the CSA and KCL have collaborated in creating a safe pathways policy to take to government, hosting workshops and a conference, encouraging contributions from other national refugee resettlement organisations and individuals with lived experience of seeking sanctuary.
